The logo and layouts were all done in Adobe Illustrator. Using the pen tool, I drew the wheat that is featured in the logo and throughout the designs. All parts of the design are vector to allow easy edits. Copies of all of the text are also kept “live” off of the artboard so changes can be made to it if needed.
I used warm cream and golden yellow in the design for warmth and comfort. Bakeries are comforting experiences and I wanted my design to reflect that. I spaced the elements of the designs for legibility and to allow the eye to quickly scan and intake information. The hierarchy I laid out keeps important information grouped so the viewer is not hunting for anything.
