This logo was created in Adobe Illustrator for a client’s food blog. The icons are vector, drawn with the pen tool. Using the Divide tool, I was able to make the fork weave through the text in Messenger. Having the full image as a vector allowed me to quickly adjust the spacing between the different elements.
I balanced the design by placing the icon and tines of the fork opposite each other. I also placed the envelope icon “inside” the design to keep everything squared off.
