These magazine covers were created in InDesign. This assignment was to create two magazine covers with the same photo for different audiences.
The spacing of the headlines on the covers was important to work around the image. The colors were selected to be legible as well as complement the photos, the theme of the article, and the theme of the magazine.
Magazine articles were laid out in Illustrator. They needed to use the same article and have different photos and layouts. Hierarchy and emphasis were used throughout the articles by adding larger blocks of quotes from the article. This would grab the reader’s attention and prompt them to read the article.
